Think that's my camera empty now need to go take more pics to put on. Oh had a little rush to walk in centre at hos with accident prone Jamie. He got stung by a wasp or a bee, four of his fingers were very red and swollen and very painful so had to take him to get help. Sting was still in so they removed it, put an ice pack on ,gave him pain killers and we waited while his temp and colour returned. Back home now and it seems to be going down ok. But he didn't get to go snow boarding( change of plans from Alton towers) as he cant use his fingers and they are still painful. But......i might take him to Alton Towers tomorrow instead just to make it up to him. Soft touch i know but it wont be long before he prefers to go with his friends so making the most of it now while i can.

Someone hit my car last week didn't leave any details and has left me with a £600 bill. Lovely people. Booked in for a couple of days next month so will be carless might as well break my legs i go everywhere with my car. Might get some exercise i suppose but whats the betting that it rains those two days.

Ok I've said enough going to go now.

Holidays & Jamie's Birthday

Bessie loves playing with water so we filled up the basin with it and she loved getting it all out. Did this about 4 times.
Think she thought it would be cooler to sit in it but she forgot she had emptied it first.
Jamie on his water slide first day we did this it took longer to blow up than they played on it as the sun went away and it was too cold. This time it stayed hot all day.

I have been off last week and this week. Been really good to have time with Jamie. Last week we met up with some friends, went to the movies and went to Alton Towers for Jamie's birthday treat. Went a day earlier as my mum and dad came to visit for the weekend. Had a really good time and just wish they all lived a bit closer. Mum , Dad, Jamie & I went into town for lunch once we had picked them up at Airport. Jamie got his Wii with some of his birthday money and some games too. We all went out for dinner at night once Steve came home from work. We went to the Crewe & Harpur where we go every week. The staff and food are really good. They booked a table for us and they brought a cake out for Jamie ( much to his embarrassment) and we all sang Happy Birthday.

On sat we went to Matlock Bath & Abraham's Heights where we had a lovely lunch and short walk as it was pouring. But it was good going on the cable cars. Sat night we went out for dinner again to The Water Margin Chinese. Jamie and I had our favourite meal of duck yummy. AND........ someone hit my NEW car and drove off without leaving any details so leaving me to pay to get it fixed. so that was a bummer. Sunday was bit more laid back went out for lunch AGAIN, don't think we stopped all weekend. Then we took mum and dad the scenic route back to the airport for their flight home. Had a really good time and was really sad to see them go.

This week has been not too good as i have not been feeling good and had to go to docs for antibiotics as i have a chest infection. But at least jamie has been on a couple of sleep overs and he also went to Alton Towers again on wed with his friend and his dad. Today we are just lying low jamie is feeling a bit off colour but hopefully we should both be feeling better tomorrow to go to guess where???????????? Alton Towers we love the rides there. Even Oblivion. This all depends on whether i can walk without getting breathless but im sure i will be fine. Not exactly the week i had planned but there you go thats life. Thank you to everyone who sent Jamie either money or presents. He will get his thank you letters off soon prob my writing but he can dictate them.

School Holidays

• Well the School holidays are here. First week weather was dreadful it rained every day with the Thurs being the worst with torrential rain. We went to my friends for a barbeque on Sat night which was really good. Went to lost of indoor play centres spent a fortune. Went to my friends for lunch on the wed.

• Second week has been brilliant. Loads of sun kids are much happier. Monday we went to Happy Hens which is a farm. Spent all day there kids took their bikes, fed the animals , picked fresh eggs, which are delicious and we had a picnic. Tuesday we went to Twin Lakes which has loads of things to do in summer and winter. Loads of rides, climbing things and a really big play barn with loads of climbing and slides that is big enough for adults to go on . Kids loved it didnt get home until 7.30pm.

Wednesday we stayed at home and Jamie and the kids had loads of fun with water and tents.

Friday we went to Rosliston Forestry Centre. Kids took their bikes again. Four cars, ten bikes. They all seemed to enjoy it loads to do and lots of places to walk and ride your bike. Jamie and i got burnt we both forgot to put cream on our necks and ears and because of was slightly breezy didnt realise we were burning.

This was a huge seesaw which we found whilst going around the forest. There were lots of things to do as we went round. Will certainly go back there another day.

Next week we are hoping to go to Drayton Manor, Trentham Monkey Forest(where you walk beside the monkeys) and the usual parks. Then I am on holiday for two weeks cant wait. Jamie and i are going to lots of day trips with theme parks playing a big part of it.
